Sustainability should not just be a dream, but the near future plan for all communities. In light of recent climatic catastrophes and the plans of the government to allow GMOs back into Kenya, we started a journey to change the way we interact with our environment. Our approach? Permaculture – a design philosophy that doesn’t just mimic nature but becomes an integral part of it.

We want to combine the wisdom of the past with the innovations of the present. We see a future where every plant, every tree, and every drop of water contributes to the regeneration of our ecosystem, benefiting not just us but generations to come.
Community Outreach and Advocacy
Through community outreach programs, workshops, and training sessions, we’re spreading the word about organic farming and climate change adaptation. We’re not just educating; we’re engaging, building a community of informed and proactive individuals. We want people to become active and stand up for a more sustainable future.
Agroforestry
By integrating diverse plant species, we are not just planting trees; we a’re recreating forests, that once were and fell victim to the greedy companies plowing them down. Our agroforestry approach is about getting multiple yields from the same land, blending food production with sustainable forestry.
Seed Saving
We’re keeping the legacy of our ancestors alive through seeds. By saving and sharing seeds, we’re promoting crop diversity and resilience, ensuring our plants can withstand whatever the future holds. Also, we can tap into the knowledge of ancestral medicine and support the treatment of patients independently of big pharmaceutical companies.
Stakeholder Engagement
We believe in the power of collaboration and community. By bringing together farmers, researchers, policymakers, and community leaders, we’re creating a network of change-makers, each contributing their unique perspective and expertise.
