Smiles Hub ni biashara ya kijamii inayomilikiwa na Make Me Smile Kenya (MMS-K), shirika lisilo la faida lililoundwa mwaka 2008. Tunafanya kazi Mayenya, Kolwa East na Townshop yetu katikati ya Kisumu CBD.
Smiles Hub is a social enterprise owned by Make Me Smile Kenya, a non-profit established in 2008. We train and employ Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) to produce high-quality African-themed clothing, bags, accessories, and custom garments. We are based at Mayenya, Kolwa East, and our Townshop in Kisumu CBD.
*THE ROLE*
We are looking for an experienced Garment Maker with fashion design skills. This is a hands-on production role. The right person is excellent at making garments, strong on quality, and able to develop new designs and teach others.
*YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE:*
— Producing garments to a high standard on our production floor
— Owning quality control across production and the Townshop
— Developing new designs and preparing patterns for the team
— Mentoring and teaching our young women every day
— Handling bespoke and custom client orders
— Working with our Sales team on client requirements
— Submitting a monthly production and quality report
*WE ARE LOOKING FOR:*
✔️ Diploma in Clothing & Textile, Fashion Design, or equivalent experience
✔️ Strong, proven garment construction skills
✔️ Experience maintaining quality standards in a production environment
✔️ Ability to develop designs and prepare patterns
✔️ Experience mentoring or teaching — especially young women
✔️ Professional, reliable, and collaborative character
✔️ Passion for empowering youth through craft
