Global Run 2021
On the 24th and 25th of April, the first edition of the Make Me Smile Global Run was virtually held.
People all over the world were invited to run wherever they wanted that weekend and afterwards donate as much as they felt like per Kilometer.
Far more than one hundred people were running in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Kenya, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Romania, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA.
If we forgot a country, please let us know 🙂
Our achievement.
Through the run, we were able to gather over 3.000 Euros. The money is going to help us to improve the situation for children in the region. We will be able to improve the quality of the support given in the Mayneya Community Centre, where children can find a safe space, develop their talents and be children.

A special thank you goes to the players and supporters of FC Schuller in Schouweiler, Luxembourg. They have organised a whole event around the run on their sports ground over the two days. We were overwhelmed by the support of the team and invite them again to come to Mayenya and play against our youngsters.
